I am a Portishead based Artist who paints large, vibrant  Somerset landscapes and landmarks in oils. The lively depiction of colour, light and tone is evident in my layered compositions inspired by skies and water.

I'm now retired, but I specialised in Fine Art, Graphics and Photography as Secondary Art and Design Teacher.

My other work includes a series of semi-abstract paintings of the facets, tones and shapes of gemstones including diamonds, emeralds, amethysts and sapphires.
